The Champalimaud Foundation is located in front of the Tagus river and near the Tower of Belém, a 16th century tower and one of the main monuments celebrating Portuguese maritime discoveries.

 

 

 

 

 

By Train

Algés' train station is the closest to Champalimaud Foundation. If you are in Lisbon downtown, you can easily reach the train station in Algés by catching the train on the  yellow line (Cais do Sodré     Cascais) in the Cais do Sodré railway station. From the train station in Algés, you should go in the direction of Doca de Pedrouços by passing through the underpass to the river side before walking back towards Lisbon (5 min walk to Champalimaud Foundation).

 

 

By Taxi

Taxis are also available from outside of the Cais do Sodré railway station.
